  2. The title-cased result appears on the right as you type.
  3. Copy it, download it as a TXT file, or keep editing.

Limitations

  • Minor words kept lowercase (unless first or last): a, an, the, and, but, or, nor, for, so, yet, as, at, by, in, of, on, per, to, via.
  • The first and last word of every line, and of every part separated by a colon, are always capitalized, even when they are minor words.
  • Hyphenated words are treated as separate words, so “state-of-the-art” becomes “State-of-the-Art”, with “of” and “the” kept lowercase.
  • Acronyms, brand names and proper nouns are not preserved: “nasa” becomes “Nasa”. Check the result before publishing.
  • The rules are English-specific. Other style guides capitalize some words differently, such as longer prepositions.
